I am now two years old on HubPages since September 9, 2011.

That's when my hubbing spree started. I'm still learning but I get to know many wonderful people around the world because of this virtual writing community.

My big thanks to the Lord Almighty for giving me the courage to spill out my inner secrets in life, my dreams, advocacies that I continue to share on this kind of platform online.

My advocacies in writing online for now are the following:

1. Travel & Places - It just started with The Strangest Places in the USA. Since then, I'm trying to document all the places that I've visited in other parts of the world (part of being a Filipino seaman).

2. Tropical Cooking - I'm utilizing available local ingredients to concoct new dishes in my little kitchen at home, showcasing Filipino cuisine with a twist.

3. Health-Conscious - People are craving for health tips online. I might as well contribute the ideas and knowledge I acquired while reading medical articles and watching health and wellness program at the local TV channels.

4. Practical Photography - I started this series in order to share my ideas and experiences regarding the subject, appreciating the beauty of nature and the unexplored spots in my place.

5. Music Series - It's all about my vinyl record collection. I've been paying tribute mostly all-time favorites that are still playable. I owe it to my parents who bought the records when I was born. I personally like the sounds of the old golden years of music.

6. DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Projects - Most of the hubbers are also sharing their home projects, like I do.

7. Tips on HubPages - My bits and pieces of advice on how to create a niche in the HubPages community and survive the rigors of online hubbing, and earning monetary rewards, too.

8. Politics Watch - I'm trying to be cool when covering political scenes in the Philippines. The present administration promised to implement reforms on its governance and Filipinos are monitoring closely those positive changes in the political arena.

9. HubPages Success Stories - I just started the series. I'm planning to concentrate paying tribute to hubbers who've been the driving force in the community that inspired me to do my best.

10. Trivialities in Life - Topics that can be simple but with huge impact around the world.

I'm also touching subjects, like Business, Values,  Recipes, Reality Shows, Online Marketing (Google AdSense and all) among others.

As much as I can, I want to be active in joining the series of contests sponsored by HubPages and its partners. Win or lose, you should join, too.

While my online life concentrates mostly on hubbing and uploading videos in YouTube, I've been able to balance it through blogging. I also link some of my hubs on it. My maiden blog site is http://www.claimingmyprize.blogspot.com/ or better known as The Lemurian's Scroll at Blogger.com. Now, it spawned a new blog site for Random Acts of Kindness.

Because of Tropical Cooking, I've been able to construct a Food Blog called Tropical JOE where I linked it on my Group Page on Facebook with the same name.

Thanks to HubPages. It opened a lot of opportunities to widen my network online.

I want to keep myself be reminded of these words:
