Saving for my Ford Mustang

Ford Mustang. I'm craving for it for a long time. Since I saw the vintage versions of it at the school library during my high school years, I felt enamored with its slick design, and the durability that sport critics proclaimed as the Best Car of All Time!!!

Ford Mustang is older than me since its birth on 1964. I was born seven years later, when the first model was launched like a race or sport car, long hoods but with short rear decks.

This is the third oldest nameplate of Ford Motor Company, a multinational company founded by Henry Ford since 1903 which is based at Detroit, USA.

The iconic name of Family Ford in the car manufacturing industry continue to dominate today, like Ford Mustang with its fifth generation transformation.

Ford Mustang generations

1. First generation (1964–1973)  Called the T-5 project and the first time it appeared at James Bond movie "Goldfinger" in 1964
2. Second generation (1974-1978) Much smaller but efficient Mustang
3. Third generation (1979-1993) Turbocharged and very good for racing, asin inthe Cobra series
4. Fourth generation (1994-2004) With 5-speed manual transmission and 4-speed automatic
5. Fifth generation (2005 - to present) with 6-speed automatic or manual

The expansion and production of Ford Mustang is now worldwide due to its popularity. Convertible or not, it is now an example of a green car or environment-friendly vehicle. More innovations are apparent on today's car models. The competition is stiff but more men and women are clamoring to ride or own it.  For more of your readings...

2011 Mustang GT, as it is known for the latest model of Ford mustang is not just for the United States. The latest innovation is that it has a foreign tuner known as Geiger Cars that is responsible for their latest offering.

What to expect on 2011 Mustang GT

1. 2.3 liter super charger that pushes the 5.0 engine to 500 horsepower.
2. Top speed of up 170 mph.
3. Rims known as OZ Ultralegerra are extremely light weight, but not small on size. Wheel sizes for the front are 8.5″ x 20″ and 10″x20″ in the back.

 I'm thinking ahead, the future is just on the tips of my fingers. The formula for having it is not new anymore. It's not a secret, either. In order to have it:

Why Ford Mustang 2020?

Because I cannot afford to buy it this year and the next 9 years.

Let's see, I'll be 40 this year (2011) and my savings was exhausted due to the construction of my house which needs a lot of finishing for the next years.

Ford Mustang 2020 doesn't mean it will be the latest model on that year. Maybe, I'll have that 1964 vintage model or the convertible of 1974,

As long as it is Mustang, it doesn't matter.

My elder brother (who's working at BMW-Riyadh, Saudi Arabia--mentioned on my other car hub) and I used to have long tall tales about cars. He said, he'll help me find the best deals of this kind of luxury car, if my plan works as it is expected to be.

What about my expenses and taxes to be paid?

Expenses are inevitable; from food, electricity, water or even medication. I'm trying not to abuse my body on alcohol. Temptations from my friends are often alluring but I'll stick to my plan.

I'll be driven this year in order to achieve my goals one at a time.

There are disturbances from here and there, be it natural or man-made. I can never avoid it.it but I will persevere.

Planning early

I can beat the traveling salesman for this one. No auto loans from loan sharks or banks. With my savings,

 I can invest it first on mutual funds (stocks or bonds) or venture to business franchising and watch it grow. This is the in-thing these days. It's just like having a golden geese and waiting for it to lay golden eggs one at a time.

My purpose of owning a Mustang

Of course, its for my stature in the society where I belong. The durability and other good qualities of this car can also be compared with other car models. But I want to be identified with Ford Mustang. With God's help, I'm hoping it will surface on 2020.
