Living A Dream

First, they were two...now they are already six;  those rambunctious children, eager to travel the world with their parents. Yes, that's possible with Herman and Candelaria (or simply Cande) Zapp who hail from Argentina but braved to travel the world since January 23, 2000.

The big question being posed by curious public is: "What prompted them to travel the whole world?" The couple's answer is always summed up as: "It's just one wish, a wild one, from Argentina to travel the whole world."

Ten years later, with a portfolio of more than40 nations (South America, US and Canada) covered and visited, with the help of their reliable 1928 Graham Paige model car from England, the couple along with the four kids (Pampa, Tehue--the first two boys, Paloma--the only daughter & Wallaby--the youngest boy), the couple braved the challenges of their travels through land roads, water routes and air (turbulence and all).

Right now (as of this writing, Nov. 22, 2010), they're here in the Philippines for a two-month adventure starting from the northern part of Luzon, meeting new friends, learning the languae and culture of Filipinos. The public, including me, started taking notice and interest at the enthusiasm of this Zapp family.

They'll be discovering more about Asia for two years. When asked about their future plans, the couple opined that they'll be planning to retire if their eldest son, Pampa reaches the age of ten to have a formal schooling along with his brothers and sister.

The couple sell paintings, and promote their book about their adventure, Spark Your Dream, plus their travelogue on their website, www.sparkyourdream.net. I followed the link and found their website at: www.argentinalaska.com. I also joined their public page on Facebook, Spark Your Dream, and posted there that I'm doing a hub about their travels.

According to their friend and supporter Joe Riley, the couple are able to turned their wild wish into reality because of their drive to do so, even with a meager income to support their travels.

So, even if your not rich by money, you can be richer with all the memories (reaching new places and mingling with newfound friends0 by truly immersing and discovering the links of the peoples of this world, through the diversities of cultures that make each nation unique in the eyes of the Zapp family.

Truly, each one of us can fulfill our dreams if we start it NOW!

Living a Dream a la Zapp Family

The willingness to chase and accomplish their dreams...this is the mantra that they kept on burning after more than ten years of travels starting from three American continents, the South (starting from Argentina), the Central and North (USA, & Canada).

Tres Americas, that was the couple's first goal. Accomplishing that within three years, an added incidentals awaken them to reality to continue: their growing family, starting with the firstborn son, Pampa. Why not travel the whole world, instead of America. I'm sure the 1928 Graham Paige vintage car will just honk for approval.

Atrapa Tu Sueno was translated into a 450+ pages of Spark Your Dream that continue to help them accomplish their dream.

Good job, beautiful house and happy life...but there's more  adventures that await them to literally see the whole world. They momentarily left those 'three things' behind to start a family on the road and an old car as their home! (Wow!)

More and more people around the world are recognizing their exemplary achievements. News about them focused on their adventures.

I can say that they're the richest family in the whole world to date! With the loving family and friends back home, winning new friends along the way...what more could they ask for?! Divine intervention? I'm sure, God is with them since the start of their journey, 10 years ago.

Dreams can never be realized if the dreamer will not pursue or move to fulfill it. Like the Zapp family, you and I can make our dreams come true if we will make plans to do it. It should be coupled with enthusiasm to make it tangible as we struggle to make it as part of your life's history. Personal satisfaction can be felt once you achieve it.
